032 Ventures is a brand builder anchored in Germany. We design, launch and operate a portfolio of curated D2C marketplaces across several consumer verticals, with further verticals in build. We provide the commercial and technical infrastructure that connects brands with customers. We set a high bar.
The role
You will support acquisitions, investments and financing across the group. You will build the models and analysis that inform material decisions and work directly with the founder.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen and evaluate acquisition, investment and partnership targets.
- Build valuation and transaction models, including DCF, comparables and precedent transactions.
- Analyse unit economics and cohorts for target and portfolio brands, with GMV as the control metric.
- Run financial and commercial due diligence, including market sizing and competitive analysis.
- Prepare investment memos and decision materials.
- Support debt and equity financing workstreams and manage the data room.
Requirements
- Open to full time, working student and internship candidates. Full time: one to three years in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, corporate development or strategy consulting. Working students and interns: strong academic record and a first relevant internship.
- Degree in finance, economics, business or a quantitative field.
- Strong financial modeling in Excel, built without templates.
- Solid command of corporate finance, valuation and M&A process.
- Clear analytical judgment and precision under time pressure.
- Fluent English. German is a plus.
Nice to have
- Exposure to consumer, D2C, ecommerce or marketplace businesses.
- SQL for pulling and validating data.
