No. The Directory needs no shop system at all. On the Platform path you can add your products by hand in the Seller Center; if you do run a Shopify store, you can connect it and products, stock and prices stay in sync automatically.

Before your first sale you provide your mandatory details: address, tax number and withdrawal policy. Without the withdrawal policy no product can go live. We review continuously against the standards of the category. Onboarding takes a single session: create your account, add your products and you can go live the same day.
